The 4th annual The Women of Winter Outdoor Shinny Tournament was held on Friday Feb. 6 and Sat. Feb. 7 at Dufferin-Grove.
It seems like yesterday and at the same time it seems like last year that we came together, skated hard (drank a little) and had fun.
There was no predicting the winner as many of you looked at the roster and predicted that the 'hot' team would win.
And there was certainly no predicting the weather - who would have thought that water wings were part of the game!
Every one of you played like champions and every one of you deserved to win. But in the end it was that fabulous Team C with their passing and tenacity that won the bragging rights for the tourney. Congratulations!!
