Well, it couldn't have been more exciting! An end-to-end, action-packed game with the puck
bouncing both ways, spectators hollering, and a light snow falling. (not
so light later on) Finally, the whistle blows. TIE GAME! In the brief,
3-minute overtime each team had to dig a little deeper (and I'm not
talking the snow) with the end result that 3 goals were scored. Every
woman there had left it all out on the ice but only one team could claim
1st prize. Congratulations to TEAM D!
A big thank you to all the volunteers, the staff at Dufferin Grove Rink,
our sponsors and the 48 women who participated for making this event a
